Can you be disqualified from joining the military for having a corneal ulcer?

i ped all the exams at meps to join the air force and was placed in the delayed entry program and then a month later i developed a serious eye infection which resulted in a corneal ulcer that left a scar. I'm afraid to notify my recruiter because i fear that i might be kicked out of going into the air force. i can still see out of the eye that was infected but there is some blur because i cannot get rid of the scar unless i get a cornea transplant . i read the list of disqualifications but it says recurrent corneal ulcers. would i still fall under the category of disqualification?
