How do i knock my shots from 100 yards in next to the flag?

When im playing well i can hit a solid 230 yard drive right down the middle consistently but when it comes to about 130 yards inwards i struggle to get it anywhere near a makable birdie distance i can get it on the green fairly onsistently but just not near. My best score was 10 over and that was 3 days ago.
