La Mer is very expensive first off...something in the range of $400- $1500 for small amounts(eg; 3 - 8oz). It's supposedly good but I can almost gaurantee nothing probably beats a balanced diet, plenty water and moderate excersice through the years. :)

Is the gillette fusion power razor even worth it?

The Mach 3 was the best razor Gillette ever made. Those battery-powered razors are gimmicks to sell more razors. They are not improvements. They seem to be less irritating to the skin, but they don't give you a close shave. The blades for the Gillette Fusion are so expensive. They are not worth the money. Buy a can of Edge Advanced shaving gel for sensitive skin if you want less irritation during shaving. That stuff is great. I think it comes in a silver or gray can.

I have been getting these for months and they have finally stopped, I still get an odd one but I was getting over a hundred a day. Delete them without reading them or even opening them and eventually they should stop.

This is what I use; first I start off with a mild facial cleanser like Olay foaming. Harsh cleansers (acne cleansers are brutal on the skin). Afterward for fine lines on my forehead I use Preve by Isabella Pelle. It's an anti aging lotion. Been using it for 3 yrs now. I also use their Extreme Eye Rescue made specially for the eye area. Because you have issues with acne suggest you wash your face twice a day until your skin returns to normal. For stubborn zits use spot treatment like Oxy 10. There is no reason to cover your entire face with acne medication just to get some rogue zits. That will only super dry your face, and make fine lines more pronounced. Hope this helps.

Would you wear braces on your legs if the doctors told you it would help you even though its not fashionable?

Ok a little background, I am 20 and I have cerebral palsy, (spastic diplegia) and basically I use a cane and I used to wear braces on my legs (because I "pop" back in my knees) until like 7th grade when i decided they aren't cute and I don't wanna wear them anymore. Well I saw a doctor on Monday who said it would be in my best interest to wear them again to save my knees because in the future I could really ruin my knees. Ok so I can't decide if I want to heed his advice and just do it or just ignore it and take my chances. I am 20 years old now and i care a lot about my image, I want to meet hot guys, and have with hot guys, what guy wants to have with a girl with braces on her legs, I REFUSE to be a loser... I mean I think its rough enough attracting the kind of guys I like now and having a disability (I like bad boys, kind of DB type guys with spiky hair and tattoos and piercings who wear Ed Hardy lol) I obviously do what I can to pull decent guys so why would I want to hamper that by looking like a loser in braces... like... no I just think I should... take my chances and whatever...

How do i know if im suffering from hallucinations?

I have been having weird vision things like when I breath it looks like the walls are moving in a breathing pattern too. or things around me a subtly moving. Sometimes throughout the day I swear I hear people talking or things like a fan blowing even though I don't have one. None of these things are scary except answering questions for people and I have no clue how I know anything about the subject but the answer is always almost verbatim from some book I don't remember reading. Why are people suspicious of me?

I am a fat old lady in my 50s. Other than ear piercings for one set of earrings I have no body piercings and no tattoos. My hair is the color of black coffee and I have some gray streaks. I don't spike it or wear purple streaks. I am half Hispanic/Latina but was raised in the white anglo community and speak English with a west coast accent. I do not wear a lot of black. T-shirts I wear might have pictures of cats or might be Detroit Tiger T-shirts or maybe Alaska T-shirts because I grew up in Alaska. I made several people suspicious this morning when I went out for a walk. I walked by a place that had several business and walked on the grounds--never went inside of any place. I discovered the manager of the place followed me in and when I found place to sit for a few minutes (I recently aggravated a back injury) he drove near where I was sitting and just sat there staring at me until I got up to leave. Then he followed me as I walked out. As I say I'm a fat old lady and if I stole or vandalized I could be snuffed out in a minute anyone can see that. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. I live in a mobile home and we have a Clubhouse that I help pay for. In the Clubhouse is a dining room, a weight room, a pool room and a sitting room and there are TVs there to watch. I saw some cars parked in front of the Clubhouse this morning and wondered if something were going on. I live alone and have very little family and sometimes I like to go places to be with people. I walked in and the hairdresser saw me and was suspicous. This is the hairdresser that cuts my hair. I asked her if anything were going on and she said she didn't know and shut the hallway door and obviously didn't want me to enter the sitting area. One time I went into the Clubhouse and the manager followed me in so I left. I am a very curious person and as I say I'm half hispanic/latina and am currently living in Utah which has a large hispanic/latina population. Is my curiosity arousing suspicion? Is my "race" causing it? Is it because I do a lot of walking rather than driving? If a sign says "private property" or is obviously off limits I won't go there but why do I arouse suspicion in a public area? As I say I don't have tattoos or body piercings except for holes for one pair of earrings. I don't die my hair usual colors or have my hair spiked. On a day I don't work I might wear T-shirt and jeans so what is it that make people suspicious? At the airport I'm usually searched more than most pengers. I am a teetotaller and I don't smoke or use street drugs.

Over the knee boots are going to be out next year--it is just a trend--so buy the inexpensive synthetic ones. Real leather is expensive so if you are going to spend the money get something clic like a riding boot or something that will last more than one season. I think the boots are cute and will look great with the right outfit. Since they are inexpensive, when you are sick of them you won't feel bad leaving them in the back of the closet.

I'm a senior in high school, and my high school grades weren't the best, but I took honors and AP cles. I only I got into a few UCs and Cal States(state CA). I also did not volunteer or do any work experience having to do with nursing during high school. I want to pursue a career in Nursing though. Is it okay if I start off at a junior college, get like a 2 year ociate's degree in Nursing, and then transfer to another university to get a bachelor's degree in Nursing Sciences or whatevers? I was thinking, if I work hard at the junior college then transfer it would be okay, but I'm also afraid of not being able to fulfill my goal of becoming a nurse. I think I understand what you're trying to say. "Deal with it or hit the pike" is rather harsh. While I understand what the poster has to say and share that view, in a way, I would never say it like that. I prefer to think of it as if a guy has a problem with my past, perhaps he's not the one for me and I should find someone else. My mom is in the hospital?

i need help. My mom is in the hospital. she used to do drugs, and my 2 half brothers got taken away by social workers and now they live with their dad and stepmom. i live with my grandma. and she has been in and out of jail. but she got out about 6 months ago and hasnt been arrested and is clean. but she is homeless, she sold her house for drug money. and she has no car, she lives with an old man who is cruel. and she is diabetic. she was in the hospital before with a sore on her foot because diabetics cant heal well. but it healed and she went home. and my grandma got a call today. she came to me and said that it was the hospital (in another city) and that mom is there. she has a really big diabetic ulcer on her bottom and it's very infected. & she is on a ventilator. she is also probably knocked out with medication. we have been praying for her to get well, and mom is also religious. im worried though. My grandma said that we are going to go see her tomorrow. but she said that since she is on a ventilator she can't talk.. how can we talk to her without her being frustrated ? I doubt they allow flowers in ICU but do you think i'll be alowed to give her a card or something? =| thanks for reading

What type of twin-tip ski should I get?

I live in New England and I ski mountains like Okemo, Sunapee, Loon, Stowe, Killington etc. I am 5'7" and about 143 pounds. This will be my first pair of twin tips, but I am already a good skier advanced-advanced intermediate. I mostly like the groomed cruiser and blacks. I also wan't a ski that can hold up when I carve down the mountain at highspeeds. So what type of twin tip is the best for an all mountain ski in the Northeast with mostly hardpacked snow and groomers, Line Chronic, Line Blend, Dynastar Troublemakers, Line Anthem, Line Prophet. Also I will mostly be skiing groomers and some glades and moguls. I might do 15% or less of my skiing in the park, but I still want the twin tips because I've heard they can be good for all-mountain skiing, just not sure what to get.

My uncle had been having a toothache and jaw pain so he went to the dentist, was seen by the dentist and given a followup appt. He went back 1 wk later and was givin antibiotics for infection 3 days later was rushed to the ER. It took about an hr for the ambulance to get him to the hosp by then he was not responding. He was diagnosed with meningitis. He ped away 2 days later. We later find out that there have been 2 other patients of the same dentist that has ped away with the same cirstances. Could this possibly be malpractice for not giving antibiotics at the first appt. My uncle ask for them because he knew it was infected.

Do you have to use backerboard if mortaring thin stone to cement?

I have a porch that is currently covered in green turf carpet. I'd like to rip off the turf, clean the cement and mortar on small stone pavers. Cirque du Soleil ?

My husband and I went to see "Love", the Beatles Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage in February. It was fantastic. We had seats in the middle of one of the wings. I doubt there was a bad seat in the house. The performance was so much action all the time; moving stages in the center with seats all around, moving scenes and colors on clear sails between the wings of the seats, and action on screens at the very top sides of the theatre. No matter where you sat, there was a magnificant performance to see. We opted for the middle of the road price and don't feel we were cheated by not going with the most expensive and upclose seats. If we had sat right down off the stage...it would have been right in our faces and we would have missed all the action as it came down to the stage. The majority of characters came down to the stages by entrances from the outside wings or from the ceiling or floor of the stage. Go and prepare to be in awe.

Why could a dog howl at me?

I was walking p a group of friends of mine who were playing with a dog (I really don't know what sort of dog was he). Just as I came up to them, the dog started howling at me and he became kind of scared (I guess) and started whining a bit and then I got away. Well I'm a senior in college, so I can give you some advice...Do well from the start when you go to college, its very hard to improve your grades after you've messed up. But if you stay on top of things, its very easy to keep good grades. Also don't go to a really expensive school if you don't HAVE to. That was my mistake, I have no regrets but in the end we all get the same piece of paper and those loans add up..we make ourselves look good, not a school. But if you really want to go somewhere I say go. as long as it makes you happy. And finally most colleges do want you to start applying the summer and fall of your senior year, uming you have taken the SAT's and stuff. So good luck and learn about all the majors before you decide on one.

Can you be disqualified from joining the military for having a corneal ulcer?

i ped all the exams at meps to join the air force and was placed in the delayed entry program and then a month later i developed a serious eye infection which resulted in a corneal ulcer that left a scar. I'm afraid to notify my recruiter because i fear that i might be kicked out of going into the air force. i can still see out of the eye that was infected but there is some blur because i cannot get rid of the scar unless i get a cornea transplant . i read the list of disqualifications but it says recurrent corneal ulcers. would i still fall under the category of disqualification?

A 4.0 is awesome, and since you're a freshman, it's REALLY good that you've got you mind set on where you wanna go, so you won't regret mistakes later on. Make sure you maintain a HIGH overall academic GPA (in other words, keep those 4.0's coming!). Make sure to take the SAT's and the ACT, until you reach the best score you can. You're definitely on the right track for the science department, & if you're up to it, take AP cles in science if your school offers it. Hobbies are important to some schools, so if you're not into sports, definitely join clubs, & its NEVER too late. You can join a general kind of club, like Key Club, or anything that does community service, if you have no specific hobby. They like to see diverse students. Just to give you an idea, the valedectorian of my school is going there, she had an academic GPA of 4.2, was in choir, & other clubs, and scored an 1800 something on the SAT's. And also, when it gets time to apply, write a killer essay. =) GOOD LUCK & you're definitely in the right track.

Emory vs. University of Washington in St Louis for Undergrad?

I was recently accepted to both Emory and WashU in St. Louis as a freshman in their undergraduate cl. I cannot decide which to attend. I am definitely interested in business and law, am a big history and economics person, and I want to pursue studies in Spanish. I currently go to a small coeducation college prep private school. I love that Emory has a strong undergrad business program and that its warm, but I like that one can move easily between the colleges of Wash U (its internal colleges) and that its name bears slightly more prestige. I want to be set up for success after college for going into business or law, so the connections of the school matter to me too. Any ideas for me? I like both schools, but am stuck and would apreciate any input. Of course, I will not base my decision on your advice, but its important to me nonetheless. Thank you

Ok, I am in sort of a jam. About 4-5 months ago I was looking for a job (I now have a part time gig in retail at the mall, it sucks) so I just sent my resume out to literally every opening I found. Well, I applied for a few teaching jobs (I knew I probably wouldn’t get them, but what the heck, right) and pretty much forgot about them. So Tuesday afternoon I get a call from one of the schools I applied to. They said they had a faculty member quit suddenly and they need someone, pronto, that can teach 9th grade social studies because the school year starts at the end of this month. They had my resume on file from when I applied and they told me the job was “essentially mine if I was willing to take it.” The problem is, apparently I checked “yes” on the box thingy that asked if I had teaching certification. I don’t have one. I figure 9th grade social studies cant be that hard to teach (it aint astrophysics or anything), but I am pretty sure they will send me backing when they see I don’t have a teaching certificate. So what I am asking is if there is a way to get a teaching certificate in less than 24 hours? My interview is tomorrow at 11am and I don’t know if I can bull crap them into thinking I have one because they can look that up, cant they? I figured I could do this through one of those online schools like Phoenix or whatever. Thanks for your help.

Are Oakley Flak Jackets good to use under a catchers mask?

I am a varsity catcher. I use an All Star system seven catchers mask. Most of the fields i play at are positioned so that as i am catching the sun is right in my face. I need to find a good pair of sungles to wear underneath my mask. I have been using my Oakley M Frames with an "S Hybrid" lens and i have had troubles seeing while ripping off my mask fast. From what i have heard the Oakley Flak Jacket fits tight on your head and wont come off. What is your opinion? Do you think that Flak Jackets would be a good choice? When I edit an audio file (lets say i want to do a fade out), the editing box pops up. So I edit how i want the sound to fade out, I preview, then I click OK. But no matter how much I click OK, the editing box does not disappear! I cant edit anything cuz the box just stays there even if i try to click X to get rid of it. Can I sand down/off linoleum glue from my hardwood floors?

Texas: A good place for a second home?

I'am from California and I recently visited some family in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I also got to see a little of East Texas (Tyler), Central Texas (Austin), and West Texas (El Paso). Anyway, I really enjoyed the time that I spent in Texas. The people seem to be pretty nice and hospitable throughout the state and their seems to be so much to see and do there (and PLENTY of space) that I'am thinking of possibly buying a vacation home there someday. I'am really into watersports and Texas seems to have plenty of good-sized lakes (I counted over 20 just in the Dallas-Fort Worth area) and a coastline where I could go. I'am an outdoor enthusiast in general. so I pretty much like anything that can be done outside the home, and Texas seem to offer almost everything. dude i got to round 47 on both "Five" & "Kino Der Toten". i knew the table glitch for "Five", & they patched it. I knew the three gun glitch but they patched it. I knew the stand on top of windows glitch & they patched it. i hear theres a ladder glitch for kino buts its not true. just some random people who thought the ladder had something to do with kino. the most ultimate glitch is the monkey bomb glitch. unlimited moneky bombs & now they patched that couple days ago. the only glitch that still works is when 1 player lays at the corner and you jump on top of him & you both die, & you hear a girl laughing. thats said to get more upgrade drops, more zombies comes, & better weapons from the box. but sometimes it doesn't work... every glitched is patched. anyone know another glitch? would be much appreciated if there was some type of video you can show me.

I went to the grocery store tonight and looked at all the different beers they had to choose from. I'm not talking about the general beers that most know of. I am referring to the high quality beers from all different parts of the world. It was very difficult for me to decide on one beer out of all the different ones. Don't let her get too forward at the canter and don't pull on her all at once, keep a feel and start pulling and if she gets out of control you can always try a pulley rein. but thats mostly for emergencies/when you absolutely can't slow her down. And NEVER let her eat gr when you're riding her. its fun but starts really bad habits:/
