Help on AVS Audio Editor?

When I edit an audio file (lets say i want to do a fade out), the editing box pops up. So I edit how i want the sound to fade out, I preview, then I click OK. But no matter how much I click OK, the editing box does not disappear! I cant edit anything cuz the box just stays there even if i try to click X to get rid of it. Anyone know how to make my editing get applied to the audio and get that editing box to disapper?
