What kind of questions would you ask if you had an interview with one of the characters from the book?

I need to interview one of the main characters in the book Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah for my book report. I need to write 10 questions that will allow the character to express his/her thoughts and feeling and then i need to respond to them. But i have no idea what to ask?Any suggestions?
